SBT Installation
The SBT allocation and installation process
Step 1
- On confirmation of your order your SBT microchip systems, are allocated to you SBT Shapers account. These resemble long digital code numbers.
- You will see these codes on your SBT ONLINE SYSTEM ACCOUNT in advance of receiving them.
- From this point the SBT's are allocated to you and are live on the system.
Next :
- When your SBT arrive please keep them in a save place. Select at random a SBT system. Go to your SBT Shapers online Account, enter your user name and password.
Managing A Factory Order:
- Match up the SBT selected with the SBT numbers you can see on the screen. All SBT are listed in numerical order.
Allocate the SBT.
- Along side the selected SBT code, Add the Factory serial number of given board order continue to enter all the boards details in the given fields. SAVE/PRINT
IMMEDIATELY FACTORY WORKSHEET IS AVAILABLE TO PRINT AND STORE ON YOUR COMPUTER.
Step 1a
- The factory serial number must be CLEARLY seen and easily recognized on the blank for all to see when finished.
Step 2
- Insert your SBT with the black tip facing up towards the surface approximately 10mm deep. You may position the SBT anywhere on the underside of the board, even under fin boxes, plugs or anywhere else you choose.
Step 2
- Be sure to add the SBT decal with your others when laminating and clearly display "Your" personal serial number on the board so that the serial number can be viewed easily when finished (This number is your own number not to be confused with the SBT code number).
- ADD THE SBT STICKER TO YOUR BOARD.
- TECHNICAL Note: The SBT has a protective glass coating which makes it both extremely robust and unaffected by water, heat and resin. It has a safe working temperature of 160 C, far higher than the board itself! Once done your boards identity is hidden for life.
